Distributing HV power The central function at the end is to distrib- ute the electrical power to and from the HV battery to all electrical components within the HUBER+SUHNER www.hubersuhner.com Website vehicle. The successful HUBER+SUHNERmod- ular High Voltage Distribution Unit (mHVDU) is designed for seamless operation and can be individually configured to meet the unique requirements of EVs. The next generation of the mHVDU comes in a compact housing and is equipped with a range of standardised components and covers a voltage range up to 800VDC. An updated housing production pro- cess not only reduces costs but is also scalable on in- and outputs, saving space and weight. It follows a standardised process with a sim- plified configuration process which results to short lead times. Due to its high flexibil- ity, the new generation of the mHDVU is ideal for any prototypes, sample stages of vehicles and is harmonised with the com- plete HUBER+SUHNER Automotive portfolio, guaranteeing e.g. IP67/6K9K, EMC protection, etc. The next generation will be launched in Q1 2020 and validated and tested against in- ternational Automotive Standards. Together with customised and decentralised solutions, the next generation of the mHVDU completes the HV distribution product portfolio. Years of experience in transmitting, con- necting and distributing the power makes HUBER+SUHNER the expert partner for high voltage applications for electric vehicles.
