The certified quality and environmental man- agement system according to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001: 2005 is a „practised“ system which is already conducted in the third generation. We supply globally and are sup- ported by our sales warehouses in the USA and Brazil. The next generation of gateway ECU’s for vehicles provides a broad range of functionality. The gateway acts as the data hub for multiple control units and assis- tance systems. Thus, the in-ve- hicle communication is a major aspect, the gateway software has to deal with. Furthermore, all external connections to cloud and remote services are in the func- tional scope to realize e.g. over the air software updates or re- mote diagnosis. The great variety of requirements result in a highly complex system and software architecture. The hardware re- sources of these kind of gateway are enormous for an ECU. comlet implemented the basic software for the various micro- controllers of the gateway. This included e.g. the event-based power management with various system states, in order to disable parts of the system, for example to save energy.
